Enjoyed some sunshine while capturing these three beautiful kiddos and their Mom a few weeks ago! They all had such a cute bond together and loved when their mom sat down to get in some pictures with them!

This handsome little guy finally came to visit me after having a pretty rough start to his life, he was born at 29 weeks weighing 3lbs 15oz and had to spend some time in the NICU. He has come such a long way in the last few months though and I am glad I was able to take some pictures of him and his Mom!

Hello everyone! 

         

My name is Callie Mikesell owner and operator at CallieMikesellPhotography. I am a professional photographer in Portland, Oregon specializing in families, toddlers, seniors, maternity, newborns you name it! I have been taking photos for a little over three years now and have developed a huge passion for what I do, capturing special moments in peoples lives is one of the most rewarding jobs anyone could ever have! I love capturing memories that my clients can look back on years from now and it brings them back to that special moment in their life all over again. I feel that taking pictures throughout everyone's life is so important, I love looking back at pictures from my childhood and reminiscing about all those times when I was a mischievous toddler or the times with my family that I don't always remember because I was little. Pictures capture life in such a special way and I am blessed to be able to stand behind the camera and capture these moments for people! I have taught myself almost everything I know at this point about my camera and editing software, it has been a long process but I have come so far over the last few years and have enjoyed learning a lot of new things. I also plan on continuing my education for my photography business by taking some classes and workshops to expand my knowledge even more. I still have a long way to go but I cannot thank all my clients, models, and supporters enough for helping me get this far! Please continue to follow me on my journey as I continue my love for taking pictures!
